Cookie policy

This cookie policy describes the cookies used on our website and how they are used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What are cookies?

  • paraclub_namur_cookie_consent This cookie is set to save the cookie choices you have made.
  • XSRF-TOKEN This cookie is set to contribute to the site's security by preventing Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks.

b. Analytical cookies

  • _ga, _gid, _gat These cookies are used by Google Analytics GA4 to collect information about how visitors use the website, such as the most visited pages and occurrence of errors. These cookies do not collect information that directly identifies you. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

  • _fbc This cookie is set by the Meta Pixel when you come to our website through an ad on Facebook or Instagram. It links your visit to that ad. It is kept for 90 days and is only set after you have given your consent.

3. Third-party cookies

We use Google Analytics GA4, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to analyze the use of our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about your use of the website, including your IP address. This information is used by Google to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.

We also use the Meta Pixel, a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. ("Meta"), to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. The Meta Pixel collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your IP address and information about your browser. Meta may link this information to your Facebook or Instagram account and transfer it to the United States. For more information, see Meta's privacy policy.

When you buy a gift voucher and you have given your consent, we also send that purchase directly from our server to Meta (Conversions API), together with your email address, phone number and name in encrypted (hashed) form, your IP address and information about your browser. This lets us measure how well our ads work, even when your browser blocks the Meta Pixel. Without your consent, we send nothing.

4. Cookie settings

You can adjust your browser settings to block cookies or to be notified when cookies are sent to your device. However, please note that blocking cookies may lead to malfunctioning of certain parts of the website.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

5. Updates to our cookie policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this cookie policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately after we publish the updated cookie policy on the website.
